Conflict and Integration Between Grassroots Library Professionalization and Socialized Operations： a Case Study of Practice Exploration in Taizhou City

Abstract The socialized operation model has played a role in saving human resources and improving service eficiency inlibraries.However，ithasalso impacted the profesionalization oflibraries，raising concerns withinthe industryabout the potential weakening of library expertise.Thisstudy analyzes the socializedoperation practicesof grassroots libraries in Taizhou City，examining the possble isues that may arise fromsuch operations，such as the weakeningofcorelibraryfunctions，thedeclineinstaff professionalism，andtheentertainment-orientedshift inlibrary services.The research suggests that the boundaries between professonalization and socialized operation must be clarified.Furthermore，itemphasizestheneedforstandardizedregulationofsocializedoperationsandthereinforcement of libraries’supervisory responsibilities.Aharmonious integrationof profesionalization and socialized operation is proposed to enhance the service quality of grassroots libraries continuously.
