Abstract：Thelevelofcorporate environmentalprotection investmentdetermines thatof environmental-protectiontechnologicalinnovationtosomeextent.EmployngaCEOwithgreenexperiencehelpsimproveinvestment，accelerategreetansfor mation，andenhancecompetitiveness.UsingdataofShanghaiandShenzhenA-sharelistedcompaniesfrom2014toO22，thispaperempiricall tests the impact and mechanismof a CEO's green experience oncorporate environmental investment，and the rolesoffnancing constraintsandnewproductiveforces therein.Findings show thata CEO's green experience promotes environmentalinvestment，andcanimproveitbyeasingfinancingconstraints.Newproductiveforcesinhibithispromotion.Thepromo tionis moresignificantineterpriseswithlowquityconcentration，porinstitutionalenvironment，nondualleadership，non poluting industries，andstate-owedenterprises.Inthefuture，weshouldcultivatecompoundenvironmental managementtalents，expand financing channels，and boost corporate green competitiveness.
