【Abstract】Objective Investigating the impact of diversified health education on patients receiving painless gastrointestinal endoscopy. Methods Select 102 patients undergoing painless gastrointestinal endoscopy admitted between January 2023 and October 2024 as the study subjects.On the basis of matching baseline characteristics such as age and gender between the groups，they were divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method，with 51 patients in each group.Patients in the control group received routine clinical nursing intervention，while patients in the observation group were additionally provided with diversified health education alongside routine care.The compliance rate for painless gastrointestinal endoscopy，incidence of adverse reactions，knowledge awareness score of painless gastrointestinal endoscopy，psychological status score，nursing comfort score，and satisfaction score were compared between the two groups. Results After the diversified health education intervention，the compliance rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group，with a statistically significant difference （P<0.05） .The observation group also showed higher scores in knowledge awareness of painless gastrointestinal endoscopy，psychological status，nursing comfort，and satisfaction compared to the control group，with all differences being statistically significant （P<0.05） .However，there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups （P>0.05） . Conclusion The application of diversified health education for patients undergoing painless gastrointestinal endoscopy can achieve better results，which can better improve the compliance rate of patients with gastrointestinal endoscopy，has fewer adverse reactions，makes the examination safe and reliable，and can also improve patients' acceptance of painless gastrointestinal endoscopy.Knowledge awareness improves patients' psychological state and nursing comfort，and patients are more satisfied.
