【Abstract】 As a widespread global chronic disease， the incidence of allergic rhinitis（AR） has increased significantly worldwide in recent years， which not only poses a serious threat to personal health， but also poses a serious challenge to the global public health system.With the continuous deepening of medical research and the rapid development of science and technology， the treatment of AR is also constantly updated and improved. From traditional basic drug treatment， avoiding allergen exposure to modern immunotherapy， each treatment method is constantly improving and developing， and in recent years， traditional Chinese medicine treatment has also emerged in the field of AR treatment because of its low side effects and high safety.In the future，AR research should focus on the multi-target mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine， precise targeted therapy， gene editing and new immunotherapies， etc. It should be combined with artificial intelligence to optimize diagnosis and treatment， and promote the transformation of AR from symptom control to the goal of radical cure through interdisciplinary collaboration.
