Title： The Poetry of Constrained Writing： On the Relationship between Emily Dickinson's Envelope Writingsand TheirMaterial Substrates

Abstract： This paper examines Emily Dickinson's envelope writings， exploring the interactive relationship between the materiality of writing mediums and poetic creation. The study reveals that Dickinson's envelope writing transcends mere selection of textual carriers; rather， it constructs a unique poetic space through the material properties of envelopes，their visual forms， and the poet's creative practices.
