Abstract： Cu-Al clad metal sheet （CMS） integrates the excellent properties of Cu and Al. Its conductivity is higher than that of aluminum alloy，its density is lower than that of Cu，and its interface is a metallurgical bonding layer， which can effectively avoid the corrosion problem of Cu -Al bimetallic lap joint under conductive state. It is widely used in power batteries， energy storage power stations， photovoltaic power generation， power， electronics，communication devices， LED lighting， building decoration panels， heat sink materials and other fields. The main product forms of Cu -Al CMS materials were introduced， the main application scenarios of Cu-Al CMS materials were presented and prospected， the research directions worthy of attention in the production links and research institutions were put forward，and some problems needing attntion in the large-scale industrialization and application process of this material were summarized.
