AbstractExperimental analysis of the Ignition Point, Calorific Value,and diferences of liter under diferent tree speciescan help objectively understand its impact on forest combustibility,and provide reference for Forest Fire risk assessment and Forest Fire behavior research.In this paper,the litter of main tree species in Daxing'anling Forest Region of Heilongjiang Province was taken as the research object, and a large number of liter samples covering the area were obtained.The Ignition Point and Calorific Value of the upper and lower liter layers were measured,and the sample mean value was representative. The Paired Sample T-test and Analysis of Variance were used to test the significant difference of Ignition Point and Calorific Value of the samples.The results showed that there were significant diferences in the Ignition Point and Calorific Value of the upper and lower liter layers of the same tree species,but there were no significant differences in the Ignition Point and Calorific Value of the under forest liter between different tree species except Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica.
