AbstractTo understand the reasons for the decline in growth potential of Ginkgo biloba L.,acommonly used tree species in Beijing' s landscaping, and to explore targeted rejuvenation methods.This study investigated the weakness of ginkgo trees in multiple areas of Beijing,summarized the symptoms and causes of weakness in ginkgo trees,and based on the survey results,selected representative weak ginkgo plants for rejuvenation experiments. Compare commonly used rejuvenation methods and products,and explore the most suitable techniques and products for rejuvenation of Ginkgo biloba L.. The survey found that 44.62% of Ginkgo biloba L.are weakened, mainly due to poor site environment, and also are affected by extreme climate,improper maintenance, seedling damage,and harmful biological hazards.Soil improvement has the best effect on the rejuvenation of weakened ginkgo trees,with a 113.7% increase in new shoot growth after one year. The efectiveness of rejuvenation ditches,bamboo and wood insect sand breathable pipes,and PVC breathable pipes decreases in order,but all have good efects.Among the rejuvenation products, the Ginkgo Burned Leaf Package has the best rejuvenation effect,with a 76.00% increase in new shoot growth after one year,enzymatic oligopeptide fertilizer is second,and the application of urea has poor control effect. Combining soil improvement,rejuvenation ditch,breathable pipe,and the use of Ginkgo Burned Leaf Package can achieve good ginkgo rejuvenation effects.
