Abstract:Toaddress therapidlygrowing charging demandsof newenergyvehicles,mobile charging robots integrated with photovoltaic energy storage and charging systems have emerged as a crucial direction in research and development.This paperoutlines the necessityand significanceof developing photovoltaic energy storage systemsand mobilecharging robots for new energy vehicles,along with their fundamental operational modes.It presents the structural framework and core advantages of the photovoltaic energy storage andcharging system,as wellas the classificationand scenario-specificadaptabilityof mobile charging robots. Furthermore,theeconomicviabilitysafety,andreliabilityof photovoltaicenergystorageand charging mobile robotsare analyzed.The study reviews the current research status of three key technologies—autonomous charging,path planning,and chargingportrecognitionand insertion—and evaluates their respective strengths andlimitations.This paper also summarizes the development ofanew system forapplication-oriented research onphotovoltaicenergystorageand mobilecharging robots,along with itskeyenabling technologies, andexplores various specialized application scenarios.Finally,the paper identifies thechallenges faced by photovoltaicenergystorageand charging technologiesinareassuchasenergy transmissioneficiency,safety and stability,dynamic programming,charging port identificationand insertion,advanced energy storage solutions,andtheexpansionofapplicationdomains.Italso provides insights intothefuturedevelopmenttrends of mobile charging robots.
