Abstract：Civilizeddiscourse isbothahistorical discourseandapractical discourse，anditiscloselyrelatedto the formation of the knowledge spectrum of journalism and communication during its evolutionary process.The construction of the independent knowledge systemof Chinese journalismand communication in the new era is dependenton the development process of the Chinese modernization and represents the academic task of national rejuvenationand cultural power construction.The practiceof political culture，the inheritance of historical essence， and the innovationofdigitaltechnologydetermine the meaning system，valuesystem，and technological systemof theindependent knowledge system.Based on themodern civilizationofthe Chinese nation，creatinga knowledge spectrumand discourse practiceof jourmalismand communication with Chinese characteristics and global applicability is the goal of theoretical innovation and disciplinary construction.
