Grea t achievemen ts have been made in pro tec tion， development and innovation of traditional arts and crafts， which are confronted with great difficulties， however. To realize the innovative development and creative transformation of traditional arts and crafts， on one hand， it is necessary to actively draw on the essence of traditional Chinese culture and carry forward the spirit of “wise craftsman”. On the other hand， it is necessary to actively foster modern innovation consciousness， attach importance to the impacts of science and technology on the development of art， insist on market orientation， innovate marketing， deliver the value of traditional arts and crafts， and realize the cultural revitalization of traditional handicrafts.
