[Abstract]Diabetes mellitus notonlyafects several organs inthe human bodybut also affectsoral health，easilycausingtheoccurrenceand aggravationofendodonticandperiapical inflammation.Inthiscontext，therelationship between diabetesmelitusandendodonticsandperiapicaldiseases hasbecomeamajor topic indentistryandthemechanismof its influence has been extensively explored.In this paper，the interactions between diabetes melitus andendodontics and periapical diseaseandtheirmechanismsarereviewedtocontribute totheresearchanddiagnosisof diabetes melltus combined with endodontics and periapical disease.
