Corrosion Experiment andMaterial OptimizationStudyof Tubing and Casing in Bohai D Oilfield

Abstract:To meet the requirements for corrosion preventionof tubing and casing and wellbore integrity in Bohai D Oilfield while considering the cost effectiveness of anticorosive material grade selection,and guide the Bohai DOilfield to rationally select the anticorrosive materialof tubing and casing,on the basis of analyzing the corrosiveenvironments in the Guantao Formation and Dong-3 Member reservoirs of the Bohai DOilfield,combined with anticorrosive material selection chart for tubing and casing of CNOOC,the CO 2 and H2S content,partial pressureand partial pressure ratio were used to judge the corrosion type and preliminarily selectthe anticorrosive materials.Second,a high-temperature and high-pressure circulating flow corosionautoclave wasused to simulate downhole corrosive environment to carry out corrosion experimental study,analyze the surface corrosion morphology and product type ofthe pipe material,testthe uniform corrosion and pit corrosion rates,and analyze the variationlaw of wellbore temperature and corrosive gas partial pressure along the wellbore profile.Finally,after having comprehensively considered the service conditions of tubing and casing,the anticorrosive materials of tubing and casing were optimized through the strengthcheck of the corroded pipe:forthecasing in production wels of Dong-3 Member reservoir in the Bohai D Oilfield,the 3Cr(wellhead-2 667.5 m TVD) + 13Cr combined anti-corrosion strategy was selected,while forthe tubing,the3Cranticorrosive material was selected;for the tubingandcasing in water injection wellsof Dong-3 Memberand production wellsofGuantao Formation,the ordinarycarbon steel material wasselected.The study results show that the anticorrosive material selection for tubing and casing of the Bohai Doilfield meets the anti-corrosion requirements of tubing and casing,which is of great significance to ensure the long-term production and wellbore integrity of the oilfield.
