Production Process for Ultra-Thin High-Performance Tin-Phosphor Bronze Strips

Abstract Thepaper makesastudyof the keyproduction processof ultra-thin high-performance tin-phosphor bronze strip （C5210alloy）andproposesastrippreparatioprocess withathicknessofO045＼～0.10mmthroughsystematicexperimentsanddata analysis. The results show that the strip products with tensile strength of ⩾830 MPa and surface hardness of ⩾ HV230 can be obtained by optimizing various procedures and operations，including burdening ratio （outsourced old materials of ⩽50% ）， smelting and casting （casting temperature of 1 180 C ， casting speed of 155 mm/min）， homogenizing annealing （670 Cx8.5 h） and rough rolling （size of 3.000 mm）， intermediate rolling （size of 1.000mm ）and finish rolling （size of 0.045 mm）， etc.
