【Abstract】Aiming atthe boundaryconditionsetting chalenges causedby independent simulationscavitation ffects in electronicexpansionvalvesandboiling heattransferindirectcolingplates duringdirectcoolingsystemdevelopment,this paper proposes a joint simulation method basedon the mixture model.Bycoupling the Zwart-Gerber-Belamricavitation model andtheLeephase-change model,thecomplete processohtherefrigerantfrom throtling/cavitationtocold plate boiling is simulated.Thestudydemonstrates thatthejointsimulationmodelaccuratelypredicts thetemperatureandvapor phase distributioninthecoolingplate.Withinthebatterymodule,themaximum temperaturediferenceamong theaverage temperatures individual cells is 6.56∘C ,indicating an effective temperature uniformity the cooling plate and compliance with thermal safety requirements.
