Abstract：In the process of Chinese Modernization，archival curation serves asa crucial lever forachieving high-quality development of the archivalenterprise.At the theoretical level，ananalysisof the conceptand characteristics of archival curation，as well as the objectives and functions of archival advocacy，reveals a close bidirectional interactionbetweenarchivalcurationandarchival advocacy.Archival curation can facilitate archival advocacy，while archival advocacy，in turn，can reinforce archival curation.At the level of practical exploration，recommendations for archival curation in the context of Chinese Modernization are proposed：maintaining"inclusivenessand integration"and constructing a localized model of archival curation;maintainingan"advocacy-oriented mindset" to innovate the implementation of archival curation;and adopting a "multi-dimensional approach" to optimize key pathways for resource integration.
