Abstract:On:March 27th,2025,the /nterim Measures of the Management of Archival Docu mentaryHeritageinBeijingMunicipalitywas jointlyissuedbythe BeijingMunicipal ArchivesBureau, Beijing Municipal Bureaul of Culture and Tourism, and Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau. The Measures have filled the gap in the management system for archival documentary heritage in BeijingMunicipality.Thisarticle providesananalytical interpretationon its formulationbackgroud,the legislative process,underlying principles guiding itsdevelopment,and overview of its key provisions.
