Abstract：The RegulationsonNetwork Data SecurityManagement，which officially cameinto effecton January1，2025，signify a critical step in advancing the rule of law in China’s data governance.This paper examines the applicability and potential impact of the regulations within the archivalfield，withparticularattentiontohowinstitutional adjustmentsand operational practicesinarchivalmanagementcanensurethesecurityofarchival data in the network environment. The study focuses on key regulatory requirements relatedto theclassification and hierarchical protectionofarchival data，the standardization of archival work reporting，and the clarification of rights andobligationsamongarchival collaborators.The findings aim to offer practical insights for strengthening cybersecurity risk response and enhancing regulatorycomplianceinarchival practices.
