Analysis of clinical features and prognostic factors of primary testicular lymphoma

ABSTRACT：ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical features，treatment and prognosis of primary testicular lymphoma （PTL），soastoprovidereference for the standardized diagnosis and treatmentof this disease.MethodsClinical dataof13 PTLcasestreated in Xijing HospitalduringJan.2Ol4andDec.2O24 wereretrospectivelycollected.Thepatients’diagnosis， treatment methods and prognosis were summarized.ResultsAll13 patients underwent orchiectomyof the afected side. According tothepostoperative pathologicalresults，1lcases werediagnosedas difuselarge B-cellymphomaand2asNK/cel lymphoma.Among the1lcases with diffuse large B-cellymphoma，1Oreceived immunotherapyand chemotherapyaccording to theinternational standardizedtreatmentplan，and5receivedpreventivemyeloablativeinjectiontherapy.Recurrence inthe contralateral testisoccurred in3cases，complicatedwithcentralnervoussysteminfiltrationdied，andanotherlrefusing chemotherapyhadcontralateral testicularmetastasis.Of the2cases withNK/T-cell lymphoma，1receivedsystemic chemotherapyand diedaftercentral nervous system recurrene，and anotherl diedlmonth after surgerywhithout undergoing chemotherapy.ConclusionPrimary testicular lymphoma is highlyinvasive with poor prognosis.Patients with NK/T-cel lymphoma haveextremely poor prognosis，while thosewith difuse large B-cellymphomahaverelatively betterprognosis. However，even aftercomprehensive treatment，it is stillprone torecurrence in thetestis and thecentral nervous system.
