Difficulties and Key Acquisition Techniques in Seismic Exploration of the Qiongzhusi Formation in the Southern Sichuan Basin

Abstract: TheQiongzhusiFormationofLowerCambrianis widelydistributedinthesouthern SichuanBasinandisanmportant shalegaslayer for exploration and development.This area has complex geological characteristics both onthe surface and underground,facingseismic explorationchallenges,suchaslarge terrainundulations,exposedlimestoneothesurface,high andsteepunderground structures,multiplecoal mine goafs,andlowoperation eficiency. Aftermorethan 10 years ofresearch andpractice,keytechnologieshave beendevelopedtosolve thedifcultiesinseismic explorationoftheQiongzhusiFomation inthesouthernSichuanBasin:1)subdivisionofthesurfaceelementacquisitionandobservationsystem,improving thecoverage frequencyandtheaspectratioofthemaintargetlayer,andefectivelycontroling theacquisitioncost; 2)explosiontechiques such as optimiingterrainptimiinglithology,alancigexcitationenergy,andeancingexposioncoupling;3)teqes for acquiringandcontrolingsignals thatoptimize detectorselection,detectorpositions,detectorplacement implementation, and noisecontrol whenreceiving;4)asupporting technologyforimproving thereceiving efectsofcoalmine goafthroughthe analysis oflighting models andon-site experiments incoal mining area,which has improvedthequalityof data acquisition in goafareas; 5)the promotion and useof node meters that have significantly improved theeficiency ofdata acquisition.The keyacquisition techniquesdeveloped for theresearchhaveefectively solved theproblem ofshale gas seismic exploration in complex areas, collecting over 2000km2 of3D seismic data in five work areas,providing important technical support for shale gas exploration and development.
