Abstract:Toadressthechallngesofondestructivetestingofunderwaterconcetestructures,aninovativeunderwateripacto detectiondeviceisintroducedanditsperformanceisevaluatedthroughexperimentsonindorunderwaterconcretesampleswith defects.Intheprocessofdevicedevelopment,thisstudycompareselectricexcitationandpneumaticexcitationandexplorsthe applicabilityoftheICPaccelerometerandthehydrophoneinunderwaterimpactechoconcretetesting.According totheresults, ① the combinationofelectricexcitationandICPacelerometersenablesthepreciseidentificationofdefectareas,depths,andthesample's thickness; ② electric excitation demonstrates superior signal stabilityand consistencyover pneumatic excitation,while the latter potentially leads to signal distortion; ③ hydrophones can identify the defect areas,but provide insufficient precision for determining theirdepth.Ascientificfoundationandtechnicalsupportareprovidedforunderwaterconcretedefectdetection,andareferenceis offered for related engineering practice.
