Abstract:Theexisting studiesonerosionofherbaceousplantrevetmentoften haveunclearanalysisofmechanismand processand inconsistentassumptionsofcalculationequationswiththeactualerosionphenomena.Todeterminetheantierosioncharacteristicsof ecologicalrevetmentbasedonherbaceousplantsundertheconditionofparalelflow,thispapersystematicallyanalyzestherosion processandquantitatieexpresinarameters.Iisroposedthatterosionrocssexperencstwstagesmelyoioat anddestruction,whichcanbequantifiedwitherosionrateanderosiondestructionvelocity,espectively,withthecoesoding calculationformulasproposed.Theformulasareverifiedbytheexperimentsofparallelflowerosionandplantrootmeasurementin laboratorywithsamplescolectedfromoriginalecologicalrevetmentwithgrassedslopesalong theYongdingRiverdiversionchanel. Theresultsshowtattheforulasaeingodcfoityndtherosinlossefienthasasigcantexpoetialorelawith theerosiontime.ThecoeficientoflowvelocityreductioncausedbyherbaceousvegetationisO.661~0.781.Theeroris5. 08% for the destruction velocity (2.56m/s )calculated by the erosion destruction formula in comparison with the measured destruction velocity 一 2.69m/s ).Theresearchresultscanbeappliedtothedesignof herbaceous vegetationforecologicalrevetment,thedeterminationof therecurrenceperodofvegetatiodsignandtheevaluatiooftefectofexistingrevetment,hicheofgeatsigificaceforte ecological protection and restoration of rivers.
