Flood Risk Assessment in Midstream Xiangjiang River Basin and Its Driving Force Analysis

Abstract:InodertooreaccuratelyandcarefullevaluatetheimpactofoodriskiemidstreamoftheXiangjiangRiveiret fromthetraditioalflodiskassessmentsystem,thisstudyconstructedafour-dimensionalfloodriskasessmentsystemcosidering thecomprehensiveindexoftheriversystemandadoptedtheobjectiveentropyweightmethod.Thestudyevaluatedandverifiedthe systemfromfourdimensionsofdisaster-inducingfactors,disaster-inducingenvironment,disaster-affctedbodyanddisaster preventionandreductioncapabilityAgeographicdetectorbasedonoptimalparameterswasintroducedtodetecthedrivingfactorsof flood risk level in the midstream of the Xiangjiang River. ① The flood risk evaluation based on the comprehensive index of the river systemshows thatthehigh-riskareasinthestudyareaare mainlyinHengyangCitySpatialy,hefloodriskinthemidstreamofthe Xiangjiang River gradually increases from the east and south to the west and north. ② The flood assessment system considering the comprehensiveindexof teriversystecansientificallandaccuratelyreflectthfloodriskevelinthemidstreamofteXiagjiang River,andtheesultsofquantitativeresearhhavegoodreliabilityfterverification,rovidingientificsupportforfoodontroland disasterreductionin thebasin. ③ Fromtheperspective of independent factors,the driving factors offlood risk level inthe midstream oftheXiangjiangRiveraremostafectedbyvulnerabiltyandsensitivityindexes.Intermsofinteraction,theindexfactorsshow significant two-factor enhancement results after interaction.
