Changes in Runoff Coefficient in Growing Season and Impact from Precipitation in the Songliao Basin

Abstract:Forthegioaldifrenceadaalraceofuoffeffents,nthlypreipiationduoffesfom6to 2018 with 0.25°×0. 25∘ resolution were used with trend analysis and correlation analysis to explore spatial-temporal changes in runoff coeficientsinthegrowingseasonfromMaytoSeptemberandtheimpactfromprecipitationintheSongliao Basin.According tothe results, ① Mean Runoffcoeffcientsarebelow O.5,with values intheeasternand southern parts greaterthanthecentraland western. Geographicaly,therunoffcoeficientinLiaohePlainishigherthanthatinSongnenPlainandSanjiangPlain,whiletenoff Coefficientin Changbai Mountain ishigher thanthatin theGreater Khingan Mountains and Lesser Khingan Mountains. ② In terms of areal mean,down-up-down-upperiodicchangeshavebeenseenintheaveragerunoffcoeffcientsinthegrowingseasonandthe monthlycoeffientfromJulytoSeptember.Anincreasingtedencyisetecedinteaveragrunofcoeffcientinthegowingsason andthemonthlycoeficientfromMaytoJuly,butadecreasingtendencyinSeptember,andnosignificant rendchangeinAugust.

Spatialy,theooentinerowngsasoineojangverasinalyceas,hiloeinaoiver Basin mainly decreases. ③ The areal mean of the runoff coefficient goes lowest in June with a value of O.17,but highest in September with a value of O.28 in the growing season. ④ There is a significant correlation between runoff coefficients in the growing season and the precipitation,maximum 5-dayprecipitation,andmoderateraindaysinmostregions.Additionall,the-monthlagimpactof monthlyprecipitationonthemonthlyrunofcoeffcientinthegrowingseasonisdetected.Thefindingsofteresearchcanserveasa fundamentalsupportforestimatingtheavailablewaterresources inthebasinanddetermining thewaterresourcesallocationseme.
