Abstract:Duetothecomplexserviceconditionsandfoundationconditionsofthetraficbridgeatthegatestorehouseonthelftank ofaflooddiversionsluiceinawateronservancyproject,accuratelydeterminingthecausesofcracksinconcretestructuresis chalenging.Thisstudyfirstqualitativelyanalyzedpotentialcrackingfactorsbasedonserviceconditionsandfoundationselment monitoringdata.A3Dfiniteelementmodeloftheentiregatestorehouseoftheflooddiversionsluicewasthenestablished.Dierent calculationconditions weredesignedconsidering threemaincrackingfactors:heavytruckload,unevensetlementoffoundationnd temperatureload.Linearelasticfiniteelementmodels,viscoelasticfiniteelementmodels,andtemperaturestressfieldsimulation models wereusedtocalculatetheorzontalstressintheraficbridgeatthegatestorehousecausedythesefactors,imingtoploe thecausesofcracks.Theresultsshowthatthecouplingofadversetemperaturedropload inwinterandunevensetlementof the foundationgeneratesapproximately3MPaof tensilestresatthemidlepositionofthetraficbridgeatthegatestorehouse.By comparingwiththeactualcracklocationsonthetraficbridge,itisconcludedthatthecombinationofthsetwofactorsisteprary causeofcracks,whiletheheavytruckloadisnotthemaincontributingfactor.Thisresearchprovidesareferenceforcrackcause analysis in similar engineering projects.
