Abstract:Inordertoclarifytheevolutionprocessandflodcontrolsituationof themainstreamdikesinXiangjiangRiverunder diferentflood processs,aone-dimensional hydrodynamic modelofthemainstreamof XiangjiangRiver Basinwasestablishedby usingthe MIKE11model,ndthemodelwascalibratedandverifiedbyusingthemeasuredflooddata.Theevolutionproceofflood inthemainstreamofXiangjiangRiverBasin wasanalyzedandcalculated.Theresultsshowthatinthecalculated waterlevelwitha 20-yearreturnpriodoftheZhuzhou-JnggangsectionofthemainstreamofXiangjiangRiver,theoverflow-pronepositionontheleft bank ismore thanthatontherightbank,whileinthecalculatedwaterlevelwith 5O-yearandOO-yearreturnperiods,theoverflowpronepositionontherightbankismorethanthatontheeftbank.Basedontheaalysisoftheriversectionsatthestations,iisfound thatduringthefloodprossithayarretuperiod,thereare48,28andoveflopronesectiosoothteleftnkand rightbanki-Xigaogah(lsiodsh-iniospie hydrodynamicmodelestablishedinthispapercanprovideanefectivereferenceforfloodforecastinginthemainstreamof Xiangjiang RiverBasin in the future.
