Abstract
Under the global climate change context and China's "Dual Carbon" goals (carbon peak and carbon neutrality), the green transition and low-carbon development of agriculture, as a fundamental sector of the national economy, have become particularly crucial. In recent years, the Chinese government has placed high priority on agricultural decarbonization transformation, introducing a series of supportive policies to guide and facilitate this process. Recently, the China Green Food Association released seven draft standards for public consultation within the agri-food industry. This paper conducts a systematic analysis of these seven group standards, incorporating case studies of carbon footprint management and accounting in agri-food enterprises. It demonstrates their practical value in: Redefining and innovating agricultural carbon accounting boundaries to address calculation opacity;establishing differentiated management systems to enhance smallholder participation;developing regional carbon brands to promote industrial chain collaboration. The findings provide valuable references for policymakers in formulating low-carbon agricultural strategies.
