The Distribution of Pathogenic Bacteria and Drug Resistance of SSTIs in Ordos Central Hospital from 2019 to 2023

Abstract: ObjectiveTo analyze the distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in skin samples of patients at Ordos Central Hospital.MethodRetrospective clinical and laboratory data of skinand soft tissue infections(SSTIs)patients at Ordos Central Hospital from January 2019 to December 2023 were gathered,and Whonet 5.6 software was used toanalyze the isolatedbacteria's resistance.Spss23.O statistical software was used to analyze the data.ResultsAmong 596 patients,atotal of381 strains of bacteria were isolated.Among them,173 strains (45.41%) wereGram positive bacteria,mainly including Staphylococcus aureus(94 strains, 24.67% ),Enterococcus faecalis(16 strains, 4.2% ), etc; 208 strains (54.59%) )of Gram negative bacteria were identified, mainly including Escherichia coli(44 strains, 11.55% ), Enterobacter cloacae(29 strains, 7.61% ), Pseudomonas aeruginosa(21 strains, 5.51% ),and no fungi were detected. Penicilin G resistance is strong in Staphylococcusaureus (92.55%) ,whereas 45.45% of ESBLs are produced by Escherichia coli. ConclusionSSTIs infections in our hospital have diversity and complexity,and it is recommended to useantimicrobial drugs reasonably based onpathogen cultureand drug sensitivity test results.
