Abstract：Qiao Ye'snew work Bao Shui examines the source and flow of the countryside from theperspective of "would-be returnes"，and deplyreflects the great changes inrural society into the fabric oflife.On theone hand， theauthor completes the symbolic demonstration of Bao Shuias the "source"ofthe countryside through the protago一 nist Di Qingping's recoveryand personal recognition of the "Topophilia"of her hometown "Futian Vilage" in the dailylifeof theothercountry "Baoshui Vilage".Ontheother hand，intheemotionalconflict formedbythetangled andpaifulmemoryof"FutianVillage"andthefreshinterpersonalrelationshipof"BaoshuiVillage，various possibili tiesofthe author's"flow"in the countryside are fullyopened up.Qiao Ye shows the "Great Changes in Mountain Villages"inthenewerawithherexquisity.Itisaneforttoovercomethelocal weaknessofthepreviousso-called "new local writing" speech.But too trivial dailyand emotional thoughts，also weakened the depthof historyand the sharpface ofreality.Itnot onlymakesusunabletoavoidthetrendof"involution"inlocal writing inthenewera，but also gives inspiration to writers to break through the bottleneck of local writing in the new era.
