Abstract:To comprehensively evaluate the heat tolerance of green-petiole,non - heading cabbage seedlings,1O germplasm materials were exposed to high-temperature stress in a light incubator.The effects of high -temperature stress on seedling growth and physiological parameters were analyzed using the heat damage index and the afflition function method.The results indicated that high-temperature stress generallyreduced growth parameters,including plant height,plant width,dryand fresh weight,and the root-to-shoot ratio of sedlings. At the same time,high -temperature stress also increased relative conductivity,prolinecontent,superoxide dismutase,catalaseactivities,and malondialdehyde content while decreasing soluble protein content in green -petiole,non-heading cabbage seedlings.Based on clustering analysis using the heat damage index and the afiliation function method,two highly heat-tolerant materials(22XS15,2XS156)and two heat-sensitive materials (22XS44,22XS56) were identified.
