Abstract：This regulation sets the rules for apple breeding using ethyl methanesulfonate （EMS）.It covers selecting materials， mutagenesis methods，the amount of mutagen，growing seedlings，transplanting，managing fields，and choosing the best plants inthe first and second rounds of selection.Theuse of this regulation helps standardize EMS-induced apple breeding research and provides clear guidance.It reduces breeding costs， shortens the breeding time，and improves eficiency.It provides novel germplasm resources for apple improvement.
