Abstract：Thenovelsofcontemporary femalewriter Meng Huiexhibit distinctcharacteristicsofspectralnaration.Througha narrativespacetatblendsrealityandfiction，herworksconstructafantasticalyetprofoundliteraryorld.Tisnarativemodestems fromthe writer'screativeadaptationof traditional clasical novel techniques，suchasthosefound inTheShadow Bookof h Yun， achievingbothdefailiarizationectandprofoundallgoricalsiificane.isrticlebelievestatMengHuisspetralao carriesdualculturalimplications.Ononelevel，throughsupematuralimagination—manifestedinghostlyimageryandfantastical plots—thewriterexplorsandreconstructsthecorespiritoftradionalChineseculture.Onanotherlevel，thisnarrativestrategyreflects thereal-world dilemmaof traditional culture's marginalization during China'ssocial transformation since the 190s.
