Research Progress on Xiaomi's Automotive Patent Technology from the PerspectiveofPatents

【Abstract】To systematically understand the technological development and strategic layout of Xiaomi Auto，this paper，from theperspectiveofpatentanalysisandbasedonthepatentsappliedforbyXiaomiAuto，clarifies theoveal developmentofitspatenttechnologies，analyzes its patent layoutandkeyR&Ddirections，andoutlines thetechnological development path atkeytechnical points.Theresearch shows that Xiaomi Auto’spatenttechnologies exhibitthe following characteristics： （1）Thenumberof patent applications has grownrapidlysince2O21，reachingacumulativetotalof1，582. （2）Thetechnologylayoutisconcentratedin5coreareas：intellgentdriving，high-voltageplatform，intelligentcockpit， motor，and die-casting.（3）Systematicand high-value patent clustershave been formed inkey technicalaspects such as motor cooling，baterysafety，integrateddie-casting，bird’s-eyeviewperception，andsmartcockpitinteraction.
