【Abstract】Asinteligent driving technology develops quickly,lateral control remainsvital toautonomousdriving systems,withitsstabilityandadaptabilitybeingesentialforvehiclesafety.ToaddressthelimitationsofPIDcontrolersin complexdrivingenvironments,thispaperpresentsacomparativeanalysisofneuralnetwork-basedintellgentcontrol strategiesforautonomousvehiclelateralmotioncontrol.Inordertoachievestableandaccuratelateralcontrolunderpure visual schemesandexplore key technologiesofautonomous driving control,thispaper summarizes thecommonly used methodsoflateralcontrol,andthrough in-depthexplorationoftheperformanceof PIDcontrolalgorithmandneuraletwork algorithmindiferentroadconditionsanddrivingscenarios,revealstheirrespectiveadvantagesandlimitations,providing theoretical support for the optimization of intelligent driving systems.
