【Abstract】To studythe development trends of energy storage device technology for hybrid vehicles,relevant patents areretrievedandanalyzedfromtheperspectivesof patentapplication trends,technologyorigin,andapplicants.Technical decomposition is conductedon three basic energy storage devices:secondary bateries,supercapacitors,and fly-wheel batteries,analyzingtheapplicationdistributionand technicalefectivenessofeachsub-technology.Thedevelopment roadmapofsecondarybatterysystemtechnologyisanalyzedindepth,alongwithaninterpretationofrepresentativepatents. Finall,basedonthe technical characteristicsof each branchand thepatentlayout,reasonablerecommendationsare provided for the technology research and developmentandpatent applicationsof hybrid vehicle energystorage devices.
