Abstract Objective To extract the secondary metabolites produced by Trichoderma sp. MDCW-16 from Beibu Gulf and banana wiltcaused by Fusarium oxysporum and study their activities.MethodsThe isolation and purification of compounds were performed by means of column chromatography. And their structures were elucidated through the analysis ofUV,MS and NMR.The isolatedcompounds were evaluated fortheir proangiogenic activity in zebrafish.ResultsOne new pyranone compound and 9 known compounds were isolated and identified: 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid methyl ester (2),acetoxyphenylethanol (3),4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (4),2-hydroxy3-phenylpropionate methylester (5), 4-hydroxyphenethyl-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate (6), penilactone D (7),
2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-ethanol (8), 6-((2S,3S)-2,3-dihydroxybutan-2-yl)-3-methyl- 2H⋅ -pyran-2-one (9),6-((2R,3S)- 2,3-dihydroxybutan-2-yl)-3-methyl- ⋅2H. -pyran-2-one (10). Compounds 5 and 8 promoted the growth of zebrafish intersegmental vessels at the concentrations of 10 and 20μmol/L ,respectively. Conclusion Compound 1 was proved to be a new pyranone compound. Compounds 5 and 8 had proangiogenic activity.
