Yield Comparison and Comprehensive Character Evaluation of New Excellent Spring WheatLines in Ningxia Irrigation Area

Abstract In order to screen outnew spring wheat varieties that areearly-maturing，high-yielding，high-quality and highlyresistantforcultivation intheirigationareas ofNingxia，eightnewspring wheatvarieties （lines）bredinrecent years were selected as materials and comparative experiments were conducted.An investigation and comparative study wereconductedon the trait indicatorssuchasmaturityperiod，stress resistanceand highyieldof the newly bred materials，and theyieldandcomprehensive traitsof diferent materials were evaluated.Theresultsshowed that 15MJ424and Yong O85had the characteristicsof early maturityand high yield.NY2014Y60 and15MJ8887 had highyieldpotential.Compared withthecontrolNingchunNo.4，theyieldoftheabovefour materialswasallincreased by more than 5% ，and they had good stressresistanceand excellent comprehensive traits.It is recommended to participate in the regional trial in the Ningxia irrigation area.
