Characteristics of Major Meteorological Disasters in Mian County and Countermeasures-----A Case Study on Hongmiaoliang Village

Abstract Based on the precipitation and thunderstorm observation data from 1994 to 2023 in Mian County，the characteristicsofmainmeteorological disasters in Mian Countywereanalyzed statisticaly.Theresultsshow that themain meteorological disastersinMian Countyare continuous overcast rain，heavy rain，droughtand thunderstorm. The average number of consecutive rainy days is 4.9 times· a-1 ，with8 occurrences in 1999 being the historical peak； The average rainstorm is 1.4times⋅a-1 ，showing a slow upward trend;Drought can occur all year round， with light drought being the main type，with summer light drought accounting for 38% of the total; The average number of thunderstorm days is 21.2d⋅a-1 ，showing a decreasing trend year by year. Based on the villageconditionsandlandformsofHongmiaoliangVillageinZhenchuanTown，Mian County，the countermeasures and suggestions for preventing main meteorological disasters are put forward.
