【Abstract】ObjectiveTo analyzeand estimate theradiation doseof patients exposed to SPECT thyroid imaging on the radiation protection efect of medical personnel.MethodsFortypatients who underwent SPECT thyroidimaginginthe Department ofNuclear Medicineofourhospital fromFebruary2022 toJune 2023were selected through random sampling.High technetium [99Tcm] sodium injection was administered,and approximately 20 minuteslater,radiation monitoring instruments were selectedonthepatients'bodysurface,atadistanceof1and 2 meters from thepatient to measure theradiation doserate of radiationand estimate theradiation dose received by medical personnel based on themeasurement results.ResultsThe estimated annual radiation dose received by nuclear medicine technicians and physicians was less than 120μSv .If medical staff came into contact with 100 patients annually, the annual radiation dose was 96 μSv and 45μSv when maintaining a distance of 1 meter and 2 meters from the patients.ConclusionWhen patients undergo SPECT thyroid imaging,the radiation dose does not significantlyafectthephysicalandmental healthofmedicalstaffHowever,inpractical work,theimpactofradiation dosecannotbecompletely ignored.Targeted interventionstrategies should bedeveloped basedonclinical conditions to further ensure the physical and mental health of medical staff.
