Abstract:ToaddressthecomplexityoftheJointProbabilisticDataAssociation(JPDA)algorithm,whichisunsuitablefor real-timemulti-targettrackingincomplexelectromagneticenvironments,thispaperproposesaModifiedJointProbabilistic DataAssociation(MJPDA)algorithm.First,theassociationmatrix isredefinedbytaking multiplefactorsintoaccount,and theasociationprobabilityiscalculated.Next,thecorrelatioprobabilityofpublicmeasurementsindensecluteriscorrte byintroducing the Mahalanobisdistanceforsecondary weightingof public measurements,whilealsoconsideringtheinfluence of both publicandnon-publicmeasurements.Finally,thecorrctedassociationprobabilityiscomputed.Thisalgorithmavoidstheneedtosplittheconfirmationmatrix,effectivelyaddressngtheexponential growthincomputationalcomplexityof theJPDAalgorithmascluterdensityincreases.TheoreticalanalysisandMonteCarlosimulationresultsdemonstratethatthe improvedalgorithmoffersgoodtrackingperformancewithreducedcomputationalloadindensecluterenvironments,significantly enhancing real-time performance.
