Distribution and spectral characteristics of soil humus under diverse land use patterns in the wind erosion region

Abstract:Theobjectiveofthisstudywastoexaminethedistributionandspectralcharacteristicsofsoilhumusunderdiverselanduse pattersinthewiderosionregioTtisnd,temusontetfuoescecespectralcharaceritifuiccid(FA)ndinic acid(HA),andinfraredspectraldiferentiationofhumin(HM)wereinvestigatedinthesurfacelayer(O-15cm)ofthesoil.The investigationwasconductedinaheavilywind-erodedareaofQiqihar,HeilongjiangProvince,China,utilisingtesoilsofsland woodlandandslopingcroplanddown-slope,midde-slopeandupprsloesegmentsdelieatedat1OOminteralsfromthebottomtote top,respectively).Theresultsdemonstratedthatthetotalhumusandcarboncontentofachcomponent,thedegreofhumification( PQ ) and the Hu-Fu ratio( cHA/cFA )of the soil under diverse land use patterns exhibited the following behaviour: grassland>woodland>farmland downslopesection>farmlandmidslopesectio>farmlandupslopesection.Three-dimensionalfluorescencespetrademonstratedthatfour distinctfluorescecepeakswerepredoantlybseedinallsoilandHAty,amelythpeakoflviccidinerailet region,theCpeakoffulviccidinthevisibleregion,theDpeakofhumic-likesubstances,andtheBpeakofproteinoids(tyrosinelike substances).eApakeibitedtegeatestintesityFAwasctedbyothitealandetealsourcendHwasoe byexogenousinputs,bothofwhichwerecharacterisedbylowautochthonouscontributionandweak humificationomparedwithsloping cropland,grassanddoandebiedreprooedutohooussousndongersolmiiaiefadsta demonstratedtatsotionakbidiiassadoddndlandils werecharactersdbyeresceofesetffucalgouplouhoentsdidIisoteworthatass andwodlandsoilsexhiedelevatedconcentratiosofdisubstitutedbnzeeadcisoleis,hichpromotedteformationofstableH structures.Inconclusion,measuressuchasincreasingvegetationcoverandrationallyplanninglndusewereemployedtomaintainor enhance soil humus content,thereby mitigating the negative impact of wind erosion on soil organic mater.
