Evaluation and source analysis of heavy metal polltion in cultivated soil around amining area in Yunnan Province

Abstract:Inordertoexplorethestatus,sourceandsatialdistributionofheavymetalpolutioninthecultivatedlandaroundamiga inYunnan,atotaloflpleseelefundhotsfealssC,CuCd, Znweredeterined.TheNmroompreensiveplltionotentialoogicalriskandgoacuulationindexereusedtoaluatethe statuofsoileavymetalpolution.TercGISiversedistanceweightinterpolationmethodwasusedtodawthespatialdistributinmap of soilpolltion.Principalcompoenanalysis(PCA)andPMFmodelwereusedtoexplorethesourcesofheaymetals.Theresultssowed thattheaveragecontentsoftheeightheavymetalsinthestudyareaere1.O7~9.83timesoftesoilbackgroundvalueofYunnanProvince. The spatialdistributionofhavymetaswasunevenandthesatialdistrbutionofZn,As,Hg,CdandPbwassiilar.Teaveragealuof theNemerowcompositeindexas5.51,ichasatelevelofsverepolutionandthedecreasingtrendoftegeoaccuulatiodex was Cd>Pb>Cu>Hg>Zn ∣> C Δr> N > As,and the heavy metal Cd was heavily polluted and accumulated significantly in the soil. The overall ecologicalriskwasataighologicalrisklevel,andCdandHgerethemaicontributingfactors,withontributionratesashighs 60.50% and 23.09 % ,respectively. The results of source analysis showed that As and Cd were mainly from industrial sources ( 24.17% ). Cr, Cu and Ni were the main parent sources( 35.26% ).Hgand Zn were mainly from agricultural sources( 25.48% ).ThePbmainlycame from the mixed source of atmospheric traffic( 15.09% ).
