Study on Screening of Risk Volatile Organic Compounds in Cabin of Vehicle by Summa Canister Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

Abstract:A listof31 VOCs with risk limits for human health isobtained bysorting out thecompounds in the in vehicle/indoorairqualityguidelinesof11countries.M1typenewvehiclesarechosenasobjects,aquantitativeanalysis of104volatile organic compounds in cabin of vehicle isconductedbased onthesumma canistergas chromatography-mass spectrometry method.The testresultsare compared with the listguidelines to screen forrisk volatileorganiccompoundsincabinofvehicle.Exceptforthe8itemsintheinternational standard,thescrening result showsrisk volatile organic compounds in the cabin ofvehicle include dichloromethane (2.45~706μg/m3. L vinyl acetate (0.91~440μg/m3) ,4-methyl-2-pentanone ,naphthalene ),butadiene ,carbontetrachloride (0~7.15μg/m3, ),trichloroethylene (O ),1,2-dibromoethane ) Suggestionsforthesubsequentrevisionof thenational standardforvehicleairqualityinclude expanding the management listofVOCsintheindoorair,reevaluating thelimitvaluesof8substancesinthecurrentnational standard,and setting2 limit values forpreventiveand hazardous concentrations.
