Research on the Sustainable Development of Socialized Cooperation in Public Cultural Venues： A Case Study of New Public Reading Spaces in Hangzhou

AbstractThis paper employs in-depth interviews and questionnaire surveys to examine the sustainable operation of new public reading spaces in Hangzhouthat are supported bysocial participation.Based on the findings，thepaper summarizes the operational experiences of these spaces from four perspectives：innovative service initiatives，marginal profitability exploration，policyand resourcesupport，and diversified supply models.While new publicreading spaces in Hangzhou areactively pursuing diferentiated developmentpaths，theyalsofacechalenges tolong-termsustainability.Inresponse， andin line with the requiremerts for the short-，medium-，and long-term development stages ofpublic reading spaces，the paper proposes targeted strategies，including optimizing services and refining policies，advancing the construction of a “readingcommunity”and collaborative networks，and fostering capacity building，technological advancement，and innovation-driven growth.
