Abstract：Basedon provincialpanel data from theYangtze River Economic Belt between 2O13and2O23，this study employs two-wayfixed effects modelto examine the impact offactor endowmentonthe development qualityof strategic emerging industriesand itsunderlying mechanisms.The findings reveal thatlabor，capital，andtechnologyfactorsall exertsignificantpositiveeffctsonindustrial developmentqualitywhiledatafactorsshowanegativecorelation.Factor endowment indirectly enhances the development qualityof strategic emerging industries through three mediating pathways：comprehensivetransportation，innovation driven industrialupgrading，andopenness totheglobal economy. Moreover，the impact offactorendowment onthe developmentqualityofstrategic emerging industries exhibits notable regionalheterogeneity，eingstrongestinhedownstreamregions，followedbytheidstreamregions，andinsignificantin the upstreamregions.Accordingly，policyrecommendationsare proposed tooptimizefactoralocation，removebarriers to data circulation，and strengthen the construction of factor carriers.
