【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the application value of the combination of D-dimer（D-D）and thrombin -antithrombin complex（TAT）in predicting the formationof deep venous thrombosis （DVT） inthe elderly.Methods A totalof 68 elderlypatients diagnosed withdeep venous thrombosis by lower extremity vascularultrasonography in Fenyang Hospital of Shanxi Province from October 2023 to December 2O24 were chosen as the experimental group， and 50 cases of non-deep venous thrombosis elderly inthe same time were chosen as the control group.Aunivariate comparative analysis was performed on the general data and information of the two groups of samples.ResultsIn theresultsoftheunivariatecomparativeanalysis，someof the statisticallsignificant indicators wereincluded inthe multivariatelogisticregresionanalysis.Thepredictivevalueof independent risk factors for DVT in elderly was analyzedusing receiver operating characteristic curve （ROC）.The results ofthe univariate analysis iluminated thata historyof smoking，alcohol consumption，lymphocyte count （LYM），platelet -to-lymphocyte ratio （PLR）， thrombomodulin（TM），D-D，TAT，α2-plasmininhibitor-plasmincomplex （PIC），tissue plasminogenactivatorinhibitor complex（t-PAIC） of the experimental groupwere significantly different （ P <0.05）. The resultsof multivariate logistic regresson analysis demonstrated that D-D，TAT，PIC and smoking were independent risk factors for deep venous thrombosis in the elderly. The discrepancy was statistically significant （ P <0.05）. The ROC curves plotted showed that the area under thecurve（AUC）ofD-D，TATand thecombined detection were 0.9810 P <0.05）. ConclusionD-D、TAT、PIC and smoking are independent risk factors fordeep venous thrombosis in theelderly， and their combined detection has good predictive value for the occurrence of DVTin the elderly.
