Abstract: Plant alkaloids areasetof ntrogen-containing organiccompounds,which exhibit a widerangeof biological activities, includinganticancer,neuromodulationandantidiabetes,makingthemhighlyvaluablefordrugdevelopment.Thenaturalyieldsof manyhigh-valuealkaloids howeverareverylow,and theirchemical sythesisishighlycostandenvironmentallpoluting,greatly limitingtheirvelopmntadutilatio.Cuetlygulatyandbosthticategisfoaaloidproductacting increasingatetio.Tsparvescetdanesialosascaioiogicalactiidpotetialalatio currentstatusandfuturedirectionsThisviewalsoanalyzesthekeychalengesinteirdevelopmentandutilzation,iglightsthe promoting roleof synthetic biologyinenhancingalkaloidbiosynthesiseficiency,and provides perspectivesontheirscaled production and industrial prospects.
