Analysis of Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Soil and Their Warming Potential in the Yellow River Delta

Abstract:TheYellowRiverDelta,asakeyareaforecologicalprotectionandhigh-qualitydevelopmentintheYellowRiverBasin,playsasignificantroleinachievingcarbonneutralitytroughmonitoringgreenhousegasemissons.Thisstudyestablishedae searchareaintheYelowRiverDeltaandutilizedtheDNDCmodeltosimulateandanalyzesoil greenhousegasemisionsandglobal warming potentialacrossmajorlanduse typesintheregion.Thefindingsareasfollows:Grassandsoilexhibitedthehighest CO2 flux at 2583.95kgC/ha/year ,while wetland soil showed the lowest at 1193.22kgC/ha/year ;Farmland soil had the highest N20 flux at 94.54kgN/ha/year ,whereas wetland soil had the lowest at 14.27kgN/ha/yea ;Overall,theGWPof the mainland use typesin the studyareawasnegative,indicatingtheregionprimarilyactsasacarbonsinkAmongfarmlandtypes,paddysoilexhibitedthelowest GWP value and the weakest carbon sink capacity.
