AbstractObjective：TotranslatetheCaregiverAsessentofFunctionandUpsetInstrumentintoChinese，andtovalidateits reliabiltyandvalidityamongdementiacaregivers.Methods：TheBrslintranslationmodelwasadoptedfortranslatingtheCaregiver AssessmentofFunctionandUpsetintoChinese.Aconveniencesampling methodwasusedtorecruit302caregiversofdementiapatients fromthneurologyoutpatientclinicsandwitin24hoursofadmissonat3tertiarygadeAhospitalsinGuangitywereselectedasthe researchsubjects.TheChineseversionofCaregiver AsessmentofFunctionand UpsetInstrument wasusedforthe investigationtotest itsreliabilityandvalidityResults：eChineseversionofCaregiverAsessmentofFunctioandUpsetIstrumeticluded2subscales： patient'sdailyivingabilityandaregiversupset，othconsistingof1items.Thepatientdailyivigabilityincludedtwodsios： basicdailylvingablityandistrumetaldaillivingabilty.Teite-levelcontentvalidityindex（I-CV）was.Teaveragesale levelcontentvalidityindex（S-CVI/Ave）was1O.Confirmatoryfactoranalysisresultsshowedagoodmodelfit.TheCronbach'salpha coeficientfrthelifeabiltysubscaleoftheCneseversionofCaregiverAssssmentofFunctionandUpsetInstrumentwasO.943，and thetest-retesteliabiltasO894.TeCrobach'salphacoeficientforteupsetsubsaleoftheuestioaireasO937ndtheest retestreliabilitywasO.614.Conclusions：TheChineseversionoftheCaregiverAssessmentofFunctionandUpsetInstrumentexibits goodreliablityndvalidityandcouldbeusedasanefectietoolforevaluatigtedailylivingablitiesofemetiapatntsdthe upset level of caregivers.
