Abstract :In order to solve the problems such as the vibration,noise,wear,and failure thatoccurduring the operation of the air system for rail vehicles,we employ optimized structural design and experimental data analysis tostudytheeffctsofdifferentlayout forms,materials,andcontroltechnologies.First,theself-designed oil-free air compressor layout and operating principles are introduced.Experiments show that the horizontally opposed layout can significantly reduce the vibration and noise of the air compressor.Then friction pair material lifespan is investigated through wear tests.The results indicate that material 2has good friction properties under the same PV value.Further research refines the smart frequency converter to enhance control reliability. Integrating inteligent frequency conversion management enables dual improvements to traditional air supply systems. Operational data verifies that the operation and maintenance system can diagnose and warn most of the fault points of the air system, which can improve the reliability and maintenance efficiency
